I used this image in my as my actual front cover for the college magazine. I used it as the person in the image is looking directly into the camera. Which conveys an interest to a reader as they are focusing on you the reader. The type of camera shot is a mid-length shot which shows the body upwards. One problem with this image is the pixels are not very clear close up affecting the image quality.
This image was my second choice as the focus of the person's face is a little too bit direct looking into the camera. This image was just taken to show that I was capable of taking two images, also this image was taken like a portrait.
